Core Concepts

API Types

Type	Description	Use Case
HTTP API	Low-latency, cost-effective	Simple APIs, Lambda proxy
REST API	Full-featured, more control	Complex APIs, transformation
WebSocket API	Bidirectional communication	Real-time apps, chat

Key Components

• Resources: URL paths (/users, /orders/{id})
