## Description

Search and reconstruct the user's past on-screen activity (screenshots, OCR text, app and domain usage) with the kortix-capture CLI. Use whenever the user references something they personally did, saw, or read, "what did I do", "find that thing I saw", "how much time did I spend on X", "summarize my research on Y", or asks to be shown / taken back to a moment.

# Kortix Capture Skill

Kortix Capture keeps a local database of the user's past activity on this device, centered on screenshots captured every ~2 seconds with searchable metadata (OCR text, application, domain, window title).

The CLI is `kortix-capture`. Queries read the local library directly and work whether or not the recorder is running; the library only holds what was recorded while the recorder ran. `kortix-capture -h` and `kortix-capture <subcommand> -h` are the authoritative reference for every flag and its semantics, use them; this file only says what each command is for. This skill needs a shell: if you cannot run `kortix-capture`, tell the user to ask from an AI coding agent (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) instead of guessing at invocations.

If `kortix-capture status` reports the recorder as not running or lacking a permission, tell the user; do not try to work around it.
