What it does
Walk your Amazon order history offline, every order, item, shipment, and dollar in a local SQLite store no other... Trigger phrases: `where is my Amazon order`, `what did I spend on Amazon this month`, `find that thing I ordered on Amazon`, `when did I order from Amazon`, `track my Amazon shipments`, `show my Amazon purchase history`, `use amazon-orders`, `run amazon-orders`.
Amazon Orders, Printing Press CLI
Prerequisites: Install the CLI
This skill drives the amazon-orders-pp-cli binary. You must verify the CLI is installed before invoking any command from this skill. If it is missing, install it first:
- Install via the Printing Press installer. It defaults binaries to
$HOME/.local/binon macOS/Linux and%LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\PrintingPress\binon Windows:npx -y @mvanhorn/printing-press-library install amazon-orders --cli-only - Verify:
amazon-orders-pp-cli --version - Ensure the reported install directory is on
$PATHfor the agent/runtime that will invoke this skill.
If the npx install fails (no Node, offline, etc.), fall back to a direct Go install (requires Go 1.26.6 or newer):
go install github.com/mvanhorn/printing-press-library/library/commerce/amazon-orders/cmd/amazon-orders-pp-cli@latest
If --version reports "command not found" after install, the runtime cannot see the binary directory on $PATH. Do not proceed with skill commands until verification succeeds.
When to Use This CLI
Reach for amazon-orders-pp-cli when an agent needs to reason across the user's Amazon order history, multi-order tracking radars, recurring-purchase detection, spending rollups, FTS5 searches like 'when did I order that USB-C cable'. The local SQLite store means cross-cutting questions return instantly without re-hitting Amazon and without burning context on full HTML pages.
