What it does
Translate video subtitles with topic context, terminology, faithful review and language-aware subtitle length constraints, then save a complete timed language track. Use for subtitle translation or the translation stage of video localization.
Subtitle translation
Produce a complete saved subtitle track using the adapted VideoLingo prompts bundled with this skill. This skill owns translation, including when invoked by video-localization. Use VidBee's existing tools and isolated tasks in this Agent runtime; do not install or run VideoLingo, Python or another provider client.
For long transcripts, discover delegate_task with tool_search when available and assign bounded translation, review or alignment work in independent contexts. Pass the exact stage, source cue indices/text/times, neighboring lines, relevant glossary, constraints and validated prior result. Include skills: ["translate"] and tools: ["read"] so the worker can use these reference prompts. The parent retains overall coverage and decides what to save. Workers return the assigned stage result and exceptions, not a claim that the whole video is complete. Use read_task_result to recover a full worker result when its initial response is paginated; omit its ID to find saved tasks after interruption, inspect their status and use resume_task for unfinished work. Workers do not inherit parent messages or notes; preserve shared terminology and progress explicitly in the parent checkpoint.
Load and bind the actual prompts
Find this installed skill's directory through the available skill catalog. Use native read to load each reference below before performing that stage. Relative paths are inside this skill, not the current working directory. These files contain the upstream roles, tasks, principles and result formats; apply their full instructions, not just this workflow summary.
