# Directions lab

A directions lab is how design explorations are made in this repo: one page,
one feature, Today plus two or three directions, every surface the feature
appears on, and the same controls every time, so a shared link reads the same
to everyone. The artifact directions lab (`ui/src/artifact-directions`) is the
precedent and stays the frozen reference; this skill generates new labs in the
same shape without redrawing the plumbing by hand.
